University-Industry Collaboration Meeting with Coca-Cola Bishkek Bottlers
As the Department of Industrial Engineering, we believe that university-industry collaboration is of great importance for bringing academic knowledge together with the real sector and achieving mutual benefit. In this context, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, Dr. Selçuk Gören and Lecturer Aybek Adanbayev, faculty members from our department, met with company officials at the office of Coca-Cola Bishkek Bottlers to establish university-industry collaboration.
During the meeting, potential collaboration opportunities between our university and Coca-Cola Bishkek Bottlers were discussed in detail. Potential areas of cooperation were evaluated, including internship opportunities for our students, addressing sectoral problems in senior thesis projects, and joint research and development projects. It was emphasized that such collaborations enable our students to gain sectoral experience, reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical applications, and become better prepared for professional life after graduation. At the same time, the aim is to create added value for both parties by developing academic solutions for current problems encountered by the company in its operational processes and ensuring knowledge transfer.
We believe that this productive meeting will lay the groundwork for a long-term and successful university-industry collaboration.
