In addition to traditional hymns, the program also included hymns composed in the form of Turkish folk songs. At the end of the concert, Ambassador Latif Seyfaddin Oğlu Gandilov expressed his appreciation to the performers, noting that the hymns deeply touched the hearts of the audience. He stated: “Through these beautiful hymns you performed, we had the opportunity to direct our love and respect toward Almighty Allah more profoundly. Listening to these spiritual works during the month of Ramadan purified our souls and filled our hearts with peace.”
KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan recalled the line “My mother and father are soil” from Yunus Emre’s hymn “I Asked the Yellow Flower,” drawing attention to the fundamental truth of human origin. Emphasizing that humanity comes from the soil and ultimately returns to it, Prof. Dr. Ceylan underlined the importance of recognizing one’s essence and moral responsibility.
