Year-End Theatre Performance by the Students of the Department of Theatre Arts


A year-end theatre performance prepared by the Department of Theatre Arts of the Faculty of Fine Arts within the scope of the Acting course was presented to theatre enthusiasts.

In the performance directed by instructors Chagaldak Zamirbekov and Shamil Dıykanbayev, third- and fourth-year students of the Department of Theatre Arts showcased the knowledge, skills, and stage experience they had acquired throughout the academic year.

As part of the event, the students entertained the audience with a comedy production, providing enjoyable and memorable moments. They also presented “Mankurt,” a stage adaptation based on a work by the prominent Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, offering a thought-provoking performance on themes of memory, identity, belonging, and universal human values. The productions, representing different theatrical genres, highlighted the students’ competencies in acting, body language, voice control, and stage presence.

The performance attracted considerable interest from the audience, and the students’ successful presentations were rewarded with prolonged applause. The year-end event served as an important platform for showcasing the artistic development of the students of the Department of Theatre Arts.
