On May 29-30, 2025, Head of the Philology Department of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Professor, Dr. Burul SAGINBAYEVA participated in the "First Summit of Turkish Women Parliamentarians", which was held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on the topic of "Education, Culture and Entrepreneurship". Professor, Dr. Burul SAGINBAYEVA made a presentation on the topic of "The Role of Kyrgyz Women in Society" within the framework of the thematic session "Women as Cultural Leaders: Preserving Cultural Identity, Promoting Cultural Change and Strengthening Influence in a Globalizing World".
The first Turkish Women's Summit entitled "Education, Culture, Activity" organized by the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) was held in Northern Cyprus from 28 to 31 May.
The main issues discussed at this summit were:
1. The role of women in education and family;
2. Women leaders in the field of culture;
3. Women's activities in the digital era.
The participants were mainly women representatives from the Republic of Turkey; the Kyrgyz Republic; Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Moldova, Bulgaria, etc. Among the participants were state and public figures, scientists, etc.
