Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University hosted a significant event to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. On March 12, 2025, 80 fir and pine saplings were planted in front of the Chyngyz Aitmatov Campus Student Dormitory with the support of Microcredit Company “Frontiers.”
Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Recai Doğan and Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov, Secretary General Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, managers of Microcredit Company “Frontiers”, along with academic and administrative staff participated in the event and contributed to the planting of the saplings.
Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized the importance of this contribution, stating, “As Manas University, we will continue expanding our green spaces. We sincerely thank Microcredit Company ‘Frontiers’ for their valuable support.”
Manager of Microcredit Company “Frontiers” Taalaibek Zhumataev expressed his pleasure in supporting environmental awareness initiatives. He remarked, “We would like to contribute to Manas University’s efforts to make our city greener. Today, we are planting 80 saplings, and we plan to plant more trees in the fall. By supporting the students living here, we aim to provide them with a greener campus environment.”
This event, organized to foster environmental consciousness, provided participants with both meaningful and enjoyable moments. University officials and students who took part in the planting expressed their joy in contributing to a greener campus for future generations.
