On April 25, 2025, the Career Development Office of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University organized a “Career Day” on the Chyngyz Aitmatov Campus, bringing together students and representatives from leading companies and institutions across Kyrgyzstan. The official opening ceremony took place at the Kasym Tynystanov Conference Hall.
The event was attended by Rector of Manas University Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Recai Doğan and Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov, Secretary General Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, Coordinator of the Career Development Office Assoc. He stated, “Our foremost aim is for our graduates to serve Kyrgyzstan, their ancestral homeland. Our youth receive a comprehensive and high-quality education, but the most important goal is to contribute to the land where they were born, rather than pursuing careers abroad.”
Prof. Dr. Ceylan also noted that career development is not limited to job placement. “A career is about discovering one’s talents within society and charting a path accordingly. We wish for each of you to reach the pinnacle of your potential,” he said. He added that such events will continue and that another Career Day is planned for the upcoming fall semester.
Coordinator of the Career Development Office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyil Najimudinova highlighted the importance of strengthening the integration between education and industry to enhance students’ employment prospects. She noted that events like this provide valuable opportunities for career planning, personal development, and professional networking. The program continued with a dynamic concert performance.
Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to engage directly with more than 50 companies and institutions, including Kyrgyz Concept, DemirBank, O! Bank, Shoro, Biovit, and UTRK. The booth area set up on campus provided a dynamic platform for students to connect with employers, explore job and internship opportunities, and establish professional contacts that will help shape their future careers.
