On July 6, 2025, thousands of youth eager to shape their futures with the vision of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, ranked among the top 1000 universities in the QS World University Rankings, competed in the university’s Student Selection and Placement Examination.
This year, the Manas University Entrance Examination — Kyrgyzstan’s first and only centralized university placement exam was organized with meticulous preparation and saw record-breaking participation. The exam was conducted across 318 halls in 14 different buildings, with a total of 15,054 prospective students participating in this academic marathon, driven by their dream of studying at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
In the first session, held at 10:00 a.m., 9,504 prospective students showcased their knowledge and skills. The second session, which started at 3:00 p.m., hosted 5,550 candidates.
From early morning, students arrived at the exam centers and prepared for the process with great discipline. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., university staff carefully checked ID cards and exam entry documents. Students, who had been previously informed about prohibited items and electronic devices, were directed to exam halls in strict accordance with exam protocols.
Every stage of the exam was carefully planned and executed. Candidates were tested not only on their academic knowledge but also on their patience, focus, and motivation. Families accompanied their children outside the centers, offering emotional support and prayers on this significant day.
The Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and Deputy Rector, Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev visited exam centers in the morning, meeting with candidates and their families. The administrators wished students success, shared their excitement, and offered words of encouragement.

“Being from Manas is not merely a choice — it reflects a strong and visionary outlook for the future. The education at Manas is not limited to a diploma; it equips students with an international perspective, scientific competence, and cultural awareness,” he said.
Highlighting a record number of applications this year, Prof. Dr. Ceylan noted that the growing interest in the university is a clear sign of its rising academic prestige and commitment to quality education. He added that the newly launched Faculty of Medicine and Kyrgyz Language and Literature programs attracted significant attention from candidates.
Emphasizing the rigorous exam preparation, Prof. Dr. Ceylan explained that all questions were electronically prepared under high-security protocols, and that results would be announced shortly. “The success of our candidates is entirely the result of their own efforts. External intervention is impossible. Every stage is conducted with a transparent, fair, and reliable system.”
He concluded by acknowledging the difficulty of the exam: “It is not easy to pass this exam. However, we wholeheartedly congratulate not only those who succeed but all young people who demonstrated perseverance and determination. The most important thing is to show this spirit. We hope the most qualified and capable students will pass and join the Manas family.”
