Manas University's Faculty of Sports Sciences was awarded second place at the 2025 International Palan Extreme Competition, held in Erzurum from June 28 to July 10.

The competition was organized as part of a social responsibility project led by the Erzurum Governorate and the Erzurum Adventure Off-Road Nature Sports Club, in cooperation with Atatürk University, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality, and the district governorates and municipalities of Uzundere, Narman, Oltu, Şenkaya, and İspir.

Representing the university, a team of students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences participated under the guidance of instructors Aidar Akmatov and Daiyr Zhamangulov. Demonstrating exceptional endurance and skill on challenging tracks, the team secured a remarkable second-place finish among national and international competitors.
