Academic Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Manas University and Namangan State University
An important protocol was signed to strengthen academic cooperation between Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) and Namangan State University, one of Uzbekistan's leading higher education institutions.
On September 8, 2025, Namangan State University’s Rector Prof. Dr. Abdugaffar Kyrgyzboev and his delegation were welcomed at the KTMU Rectorate by Rector Prof. Dr. Alparslan Ceylan, Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev, and Secretary General Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş.
Following the meetings, the academic cooperation protocol was signed between the two universities. The protocol foresees collaboration in joint scientific research, student and academic staff exchange programs, as well as cooperation in sports, arts, and cultural activities.
Speaking during the visit, Rector Kyrgyzboev highlighted that Manas University students are invited to take part in upcoming archaeological excavations in Uzbekistan and congratulated KTMU on its 30th anniversary.
Rector Ceylan emphasized that this cooperation will further strengthen scientific and cultural ties within the Turkic world.
The program concluded with an exchange of gifts and a group photo.
