A New Academic Bridge in the Turkic World: KTMU and Ordu University Signed Academic Cooperation Protocol
On October 6, 2025, the Rector of Ordu University Prof. Dr. Orhan Baş visited the Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan at the Rectorate. During the visit, a protocol was signed to strengthen academic cooperation between the two universities.
The signed protocol envisions joint scientific research, undergraduate and graduate student exchange programs, as well as academic staff and researcher exchanges. Additionally, cooperation in the fields of sports, arts, and culture is also planned.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized that the protocol would contribute to strengthening academic ties across the Turkic world, stating, “This cooperation will not only enhance scientific production but also reinforce the bridges of friendship between our two countries.”
Rector of Ordu University Prof. Dr. Orhan Baş expressed his hope that the agreement would be beneficial for both institutions and noted that the joint projects would create new opportunities for young people.
Following the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Orhan Baş visited Manas Television, toured the new studios, and received information about the institution’s broadcasting activities.
