KTMU Appoints New Dean to Faculty of Engineering
As of April 16, 2026, Prof. Dr. Rita Ismailova, a faculty member of the Department of Computer Engineering at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU), has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
The appointment ceremony was held during an official program at the Rectorate, where the letter of appointment was presented by Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev. The ceremony was also attended by Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş and Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov, as well as Secretary-General Dr. Fatih Ramazan İstanbullugil.
In his statement regarding the appointment, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan said: “I believe that Prof. Dr. Rita Ismailova, with her extensive knowledge, academic vision, and institutional experience, will make significant contributions to our faculty. I wish her success in her new appointment and am confident that she will lead initiatives that will carry our Faculty of Engineering toward a stronger future.”
