Welcome Ramadan
The Kalem Club, operating under the Faculty of Theology at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU), organized a meaningful event to bring the spiritual atmosphere of the blessed month of Ramadan to the university campus. The program titled “Welcome Ramadan”, held on February 18, 2026, at 16:00, was conducted with the active participation of students.
The opening speech was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Prof. Dr. Huseyin Akyuz. In his remarks, he emphasized that Ramadan is not only a time of worship but also a period of spiritual purification, solidarity, and brotherhood.
The event, organized by the Kalem Club, included various presentations and sharing sessions reflecting the religious and cultural heritage of Ramadan. In addition to theology students, participants from different departments of the university attended the program and, at its conclusion, gathered around the spirit of unity and togetherness brought by the month of Ramadan.
