“A Step Towards the Exchange Program”
An event titled “A Step Towards the Exchange Program” was held at the Faculty of Communication of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
Within the framework of the event, students who had studied through the Orkhun Exchange Program shared their experiences and delivered presentations. They spoke about participation requirements, application procedures, selection criteria, the academic process, and student life abroad.
At the beginning of the event, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Besim Yıldırım, delivered a speech emphasizing that studying abroad is not only an academic experience but also an important decision reflecting a student’s independence. According to him, studying in another country allows students to explore new cultures, broaden their worldview, and develop personally. He also underlined that such experience plays a significant role in future career development.
It should be noted that Asylay Toroeva studied at Ege Üniversitesi; Hafiza Sydykova, Akbermet Aalambekova, and Bübüsara Nazarbekova studied at Fırat Üniversitesi in Türkiye; and Aida Toreshova studied at L. N. Gumilyov Avrasya Ulusal Üniversitesi in Kazakhstan.
Students of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema Arts, Ayzirek Karazakova and Saltanat Tölögönova, completed their studies at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi in Türkiye.
