A seminar titled “Green Economy as a Career Path” was organized for the students of the Faculty of Communication at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University within the framework of the “Joogazyn” festival. The event was held as part of an educational and awareness-raising program.
The seminar featured well-known PR specialist and media expert Nurdin Sultambayev and Dr.Begayim Maksutova as speakers. They provided students with information about the concept of the green economy, which is considered one of the key components of sustainable development. It was also emphasized that this field offers important career opportunities for future journalists and public relations (PR) professionals.
During the seminar, the main principles of the green economy, its role in the sustainable development of Kyrgyzstan, and the importance of the media in communicating environmental and socio-economic issues to the public were highlighted. Particular attention was paid to the role of journalists and PR specialists in building public trust, increasing environmental awareness, and shaping public opinion aimed at solving environmental problems.
