Technical Visit to Matkasym Company from the Industrial Engineering Department
The Industrial Engineering Department organized an important technical trip to increase students' sectoral awareness and strengthen university-industry cooperation. On Friday, February 27, 2026, a visit was organized to Matkasym, one of Kyrgyzstan's well-established companies, with the participation of department faculty members and students from all grades.
During the event, which started at 09:30 AM, students had the chance to observe production processes on-site. Production lines were introduced in detail by factory officials, from raw material acceptance to packaging. During the technical trip, students examined the real-life equivalents of the theoretical knowledge they learned in class and had the opportunity to ask questions they were curious about.
In the meeting held after the tour, potential collaborations between the department and the company were discussed. A productive meeting was held on internship opportunities, final projects, and joint studies for students. The event was completed as an important step contributing to students' professional vision and strengthening the ties between industry and academia.
