A special concert program was organized by our faculty on March 6, 2026, within the scope of "March 8th International Women's Day".

The concert, held in the Kasım Tınıstanov Conference Hall, featured the Turkic World Orchestra under the direction of Kyrgyz Republic People's Artist Rısbek Cumakunov. The orchestra's soloists and fourth-year students from the Music Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts performed works by Kyrgyz and Turkish composers.

Following the concert, the Rector of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, emphasized the important place of women in Turkish culture, stating that women represent the sun and light. Prof. Dr. Ceylan noted that the Turkish nation is one of the nations that values women the most, adding that women are always highly valued, not just on one day. Recalling the important roles women have undertaken in Turkish history, Prof. Dr. Ceylan said that one of the most meaningful examples of this is Kurmancan Datka. Ceylan also thanked those who contributed to this meaningful event organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts, expressed her satisfaction with the performances of the Turkish World Orchestra and the students, and congratulated all female staff working at the university on International Women's Day, March 8th.
