“Manas Poetry Night” Held Through Inter-University Cooperation
The cultural event titled “Manas Poetry Night,” organized in cooperation between the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Kyrgyz National University of Culture and Arts named after Bubusara Beishenalieva, was held on May 15, 2026, at Oba Tea Garden with strong participation.
The event, organized by Lecturer Taalaygul Tashmanbetova from the Department of Performing Arts, featured poetry readings in Turkish and Kyrgyz, songs, a waltz performance, and various stage performances, all of which attracted great interest from the audience. As part of the program, the “Altın-Nur” Ensemble, operating under the Kyrgyz National University of Culture and Arts named after Bubusara Beishenalieva and conducted by Nurpeyil Samarbekova, contributed artistically to the event with instrumental performances.
At the end of the event, the Rector of our University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, presented certificates of appreciation to Nurpeyil Samarbekova, the “Altın-Nur” Ensemble, and Lecturer Taalaygul Tashmanbetova for their contributions to the organization of the event. Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan expressed his satisfaction with the cultural and artistic cooperation between the two universities and emphasized the importance of continuing such collaborative activities.
Additionally, within the scope of the program, the Writers’ Union of the Kyrgyz Republic presented a medal to Lecturer Taalaygul Tashmanbetova.
The event was regarded as a meaningful artistic gathering that contributed to strengthening the cultural ties between the two universities.
