On January 28, 2026, a seminar entitled “Emerging Challenges and Threats to the Flora of Son-Kul” was held under the supervision of Myskalay Ganybaeva, Candidate of Biological Sciences. The seminar provided a scientific assessment of the current state of the region’s flora and examined anthropogenic impacts, the consequences of climate change, and issues related to biodiversity conservation. The event aimed to facilitate academic exchange, address pressing environmental concerns, and develop recommendations for sustainable natural resource management.
