“National Spirit — Global Heights,”
In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic “National Spirit — Global Heights,” an event entitled “Great Manaschi of the Kyrgyz People” was held on February 11 at 13:30 at our university’s Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Biology, 3rd year, under the guidance of Dr. Nurzhamal Omurzakova.
The event featured invited manaschi Nurbek Kalybek uulu, a descendant of the great manaschi Sayakbay Karalayev, as well as manaschi Beksultan Barktabas tegin. Presentations were delivered about the great manaschi of the Kyrgyz people, excerpts from the epic “Manas” were performed, the monologue “Kanykey’s Lament” was recited, and the program was accompanied by komuz music. It was noted that the event was meaningful and impressive for the students, and gratitude was expressed to the organizing team.
