Food Training for Representatives of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic by KTMU

The Department of Food Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering organized a training seminar titled “Production of Sweetened Beverages” for tax officers serving in the Northern and Southern Regions Directorate for the Control of Fuel and Alcoholic Products Production under the State Tax Service affiliated with the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the one-week seminar, participants received comprehensive instruction on all key aspects of beverage production, including raw materials and components, formulation preparation, technological processes, microbiological safety, production equipment, quality control, filling and packaging, shelf life and storage conditions, as well as the relevant standards and regulations governing beverage manufacturing.

Upon completion of the program, participation certificates were awarded to all attendees. In recognition of his significant contributions to education, dedicated service, and professional excellence, KTMU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov received an Honor Certificate.

Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Head of the Department of Food Engineering Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anarseyit Deydiyev and the department’s academic staff, acknowledging their role in enhancing the professional competencies of the participants and supporting inter-institutional collaboration.

Highlighting the university’s commitment to societal impact, KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized that universities are responsible not only for education and research but also for delivering tangible benefits to society. He stated that Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University will continue to strengthen cooperation with public institutions and share its knowledge and expertise across various sectors. Prof. Dr. Ceylan underscored that transforming academic capacity into societal value is a central institutional mission, and affirmed that similar educational and service-oriented initiatives will continue to expand in line with this approach.
