Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) is preparing to bring together leading academicians, researchers, and industry representatives from across the Turkic world in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital transformation through the 1st International Turkic World Congress on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation, which will be held on May 18–19. Distinguished by its international participation and interdisciplinary approach, the congress aims to deepen regional academic cooperation and foster the development of shared research agendas.
Within the scope of the congress, the social, economic, and cultural impacts of artificial intelligence will be addressed from a multidimensional perspective, while the reflections of digital transformation processes on public administration, media, healthcare, education, and industry will be discussed in light of current scientific studies. Through invited speeches, thematic sessions, and scientific presentations included in the program, participants will be provided with a comprehensive platform for both theoretical and practice-oriented knowledge exchange.
In his remarks regarding the congress, KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized that artificial intelligence and digital transformation are not merely areas of technological advancement, but processes that are reshaping societies’ ways of thinking and systems of production. Stating that KTMU does not intend to remain a passive observer of this transformation, Rector Ceylan noted that the university aims to become an active producer of knowledge and a guiding actor in this field. He further described the congress as a strategic platform that brings together the shared intellectual accumulation of the Turkic world, strengthens interdisciplinary cooperation, and contributes to building a common vision for the digital ecosystem of the future.
Through this event, KTMU also seeks to establish sustainable research networks among universities across the Turkic world. In this respect, the congress will not only serve as a platform providing international visibility for young researchers, but also offer a strong foundation for new research projects and institutional collaborations.
As the first congress of its kind to be hosted by KTMU, the event stands out as one of the university’s pioneering initiatives that reinforces its position within the global academic ecosystem and contributes to shaping the transformative dynamics of the digital age.
