A panel for women was held in honor of the holy month of Ramadan

Within the scope of the Faculty’s 2026 social responsibility activities, a special “Ramadan Panel” for women was held on February 16, 2026. The panel was coordinated by Camila Coraeva, a staff member of the Faculty of Theology at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, and moderated by Prof. Dr. Nezahat Ceylan. The panel speakers included Dr. Mirgul Bekmurzaeva, Dr. Dilnoza Rahmatillaeva, and Research Assistant Altınay Kurmanbekova.

The panel first focused on the spiritual significance of the month of Ramadan and its contribution to the inner life of individuals. The personal benefits of fasting in terms of patience, empathy, and self-discipline were discussed. The role of Ramadan in strengthening social solidarity, mutual assistance, and the culture of sharing was also emphasized. In addition, the impact of Ramadan on youth and family life in contemporary society was addressed. The panel concluded with the message that fasting is not merely abstaining from food, but also an opportunity for moral development and spiritual renewal.

At the end of the panel, refreshments were served to the participants. Approximately 300 women attended the event and followed the program with great interest.
