Tourism Faculty Representatives Visit Leading Universities in Almaty

On September 10, 2026, representatives of the Faculty of Tourism paid a working visit to leading higher education institutions in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the visit, the faculty representatives visited Almaty Technological University and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. They familiarized themselves with the universities’ academic activities, innovative approaches to teaching and learning, as well as their modern infrastructure and technical facilities.
During the meetings, the participants discussed current trends in higher education, educational opportunities and conditions provided for students, the implementation of innovative projects, and the integration of modern technologies into the educational process. The sides also exchanged experiences and shared their views on the development of academic and educational activities.
Particular attention was given to strengthening academic ties, expanding experience-sharing opportunities, and identifying prospective areas for future cooperation.
The working visit marked an important step toward strengthening the Faculty of Tourism’s international academic relations, learning from the experience of leading universities, and further developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of higher education.
